  15. Hmm tricky Iris. After reading very carefully all the comments my guess would be that they are going to become part of a sculpture - like a high-rise totem type sculpture with these gorgeous "eyes" being incorporated at various heights on the totem. Totally wrong I know but fun to guess.
Second guess - a cascading necklace??

    ReplyDelete
  16. Or they will make a hollow bead neck piece!

    ReplyDelete
  17. I mean you will use two pieces to make a one hollow bead!

    ReplyDelete
  26. I vote for buttons! If not, it's a shame because they would make extraordinary buttons! How lovely they would be on a hand-knit sweater.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well for sure they are lovely! Now as to what they are, I'm guessing buttons or brooches, or maybe paper weights. Although knowing you they could be just about anything with a twist!

    Marie

    ReplyDelete
  28. Oops, buttons were already ruled out-my bad, lol. Hmmmm, set of magnets? With a magnetic board, that would be a finished piece! With a hole drilled in 1 side and a chopstick inserted, they would be lovely hairsticks as well!

  30. Hi Irish
I think they will be rings?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Yes I think they are drawer pulls too..you can replace the pulls on your drawers or your kitchen cabinets....or you can make a coat hanging piece by aligning them on a piece of wood and hanging it on the wall.... it will be good to hang jewelry too! Whatever they are they look beautful! I love the vibrant colors! Tell us what it is!

  49. They could be door knobs or the bottoms of small bowls ..wild guess..kipahs for small dolls

    ReplyDelete
  50. So.. may be they will be magnets on a fridge for the notes
    sasch88@mail.ru

    ReplyDelete
  51. so many things they could be used for- ring, brooch, paper weight, jewelry box, door knob? Also could be used as magnets, part of a sculpture piece maybe if they were put together to form a ball somewhat like the woven crystal ball but made of these semi circles? Could also use it depending on the size as links in a braclet or necklace or one as a pendant. The shell back of a turtle?

    ReplyDelete
  52. What about the hollow beads? pavla.cepelikova@seznam.cz

    ReplyDelete
  53. They can't be doorknobs because there is nothing to grip, as magnets they would be too boring (you're magnets are always fun looking), like everyone else, without knowing the size it makes it extra hard. Also, this just isn't your normal style of design. These are simple in design but elegant, and you say they are part of something. I will guess the lid to something that perhaps will have a hinge; perhaps a pill box or a pendant that opens up. It will be interesting to see. Good one Miss Iris . . .
